Get Answers on the FileMaker Forum
I never learn anything talking. I only learn things when I ask questions.
Lou Holtz is a retired American football coach, but more importantly he is a smart man. He reminds us that it's pretty hard to learn when you are just talking. Instead, he encourages us to make those words useful by asking questions. The same is true if you want to learn FileMaker, and that's why we created the FileMaker Forum.
If you want to learn FileMaker, start by asking questions of your peers on the FileMaker Forum. If you are struggling with a calculation, don't understand a function, or can't get a script to run properly, describe your problem and someone will help you out.
There are so many benefits to sharing your questions on the FileMaker Forum:
- You can learn a new technique or perspective from a fellow FileMaker developer.
- You can make contributions to the FileMaker community.
- You can meet and exchange ideas with other FileMaker developers.
- You can help others with the same questions to learn FileMaker, too.
Plus, our FileMaker Forum is dynamically tied in with the resources on our FileMaker school. That means if you are asking a question about a topic that we've covered in our library, you can get an immediate answer. Any related videos, example files, cheat sheets and other learning resources that we have available will be provided to you in the sidebar.
So, ask your questions and together we will better learn FileMaker!
